ഏഴ് സൈനികരാണ് വാഹനത്തിലുണ്ടായിരുന്നത്. ഗുരുതരമായി പരിക്കേറ്റ അഞ്ച് സൈനികരെ ആശുപത്രിയിലേക്ക് മാറ്റി. സൈന്യവും ജമ്മു കാശ്മീർ പൊലീസും സ്ഥലത്തെത്തി രക്ഷാപ്രവർത്തനത്തിന് നേതൃത്വം നൽകി.

കഴിഞ്ഞ മാസം 24ന് ജമ്മു കശ്മീരിൽ സമാനമായ രീതിയിൽ ട്രക്ക് കൊക്കയിലേക്ക് മറിഞ്ഞ് അഞ്ച് സൈനികർ മരിച്ചിരുന്നു. 11 മദ്രാസ് ലൈറ്റ് ഇൻഫന്ട്രിയുടെ ഭാഗമായ വാഹനം നിയന്ത്രണം വിട്ട് 300 അടി താഴ്ചയുള്ള കൊക്കയിലേക്ക് മറിയുകയായിരുന്നു. 18 സൈനികരായിരുന്നു വാഹനത്തിൽ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നത്.

Seven soldiers were in the vehicle. Five seriously injured soldiers were shifted to the hospital. The army and Jammu and Kashmir police reached the spot and led the rescue operation.

On the 24th of last month, five soldiers died when a truck fell into a gorge in Jammu and Kashmir in a similar manner. The vehicle, which was part of the 11th Madras Light Infantry, lost control and fell into a 300-feet deep gorge. There were 18 soldiers in the vehicle.
